Meet Max & Madison
Max McHugh began his career as a Technical Recruiter over eight years ago, supporting large companies across the nation. Throughout his career, he has filled positions in nearly every industry and at all levels of employment. Over five years ago, he founded a group at his company called “Biblical Principles in Business”—a 30-minute call open to anyone in the company, hosted every three weeks. The group provides an opportunity to explore Christian principles and how they can align with business success and personal fulfillment. What began with just ten participants quickly grew to over 80 individuals.
Around that same time, Max met his wife, Madison, who joined him in elevating Faith in Business into a more professional endeavor. Madison, who was raised in the Christian faith, was graduating from Pepperdine University with a degree in Biology when she met Max. Despite her academic background, she quickly discovered a passion for recruiting. Madison has since supported major clients like Apple and Cisco with great success. She also joined Biblical Principles in Business and has been an integral part of the group’s growth and success.
Many employees at The Select Group regularly attend the calls, and over the years, numerous individuals have reached out to Max and Madison for discipleship and coaching. As a result of the profound impact they’ve seen, Max and Madison launched a business called The Gathering Collective, with a mission to expand the blessing of authentic, faith-based community within often demanding and rigid corporate environments. Their goal is to provide a space where employees at all levels can learn about biblical principles that enrich both their work and personal lives. They envision corporations across America embracing a life-giving, hope-filled community.
The Biblical Principles in Business group has helped transform the culture at The Select Group. Building on this foundation, The Gathering House now offers a warm, engaging call designed to foster community and purpose in corporations worldwide. These calls are a space where faith and professional success intersect. Employees are invited to join—regardless of background or beliefs—with no prior preparation required. Rooted in Christian principles and the Bible, the call welcomes everyone and encourages meaningful connections among coworkers.
Max and Madison also make themselves available to anyone who is impacted by the calls and seeks mentorship, prayer, or guidance.
